Richard Reeve

South Island poet.


Poet Richard Reeve has published three collections of poems with Auckland University Press, Dialectic of Mud (2001), The Life and the Dark (2004), a NZ Listener ‘book of the year’, and In Continents (2008).

Reeve won the Macmillan Brown Prize for Poetry in 1998 and the $20,000 Todd Foundation New Writer’s Bursary in 2002/03. He was co-founder of literary magazine Glottis, has been an editor for Otago University Press and is the Chair of environmental group The Upland Landscape Protection Society.
